Welcome to SAKU. By using the SAKU application ("the App"), you agree to
the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using SAKU, you ("the User") agree to be bound
by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Service Description
SAKU is a personal finance management application that helps you track
income, expenses, and budgets. Core features:
Transaction logging per wallet and per saku.
Category grouping and monthly budgets.
Cash flow reports and charts.
Cross-device sync (optional, via Google account).
Wallet collaboration with family/team members (optional).
3. Account and Security
3.1 Access PIN
You are fully responsible for keeping your 6-digit PIN confidential.
We will never ask for your PIN via email, phone, or any other channel.
5 failed attempts will lock your account for 15 minutes.
3.2 Google Account (Optional)
Linking a Google account is optional but required for sync and collaboration features.
You are responsible for the security of your Google account.
Only one Google account can be linked per device at a time.
3.3 PIN Reset
PIN reset is only available when a Google account is linked.
Without Google linked, forgetting your PIN means you must reset all data (unrecoverable).
4. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
Use SAKU for illegal activities or violations of law.
Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the SAKU system.
Use bots or automated scripts to access the API.
Abuse collaboration features (invitation spam, member harassment).
Sell, sublicense, or redistribute the app.
5. Data Ownership
Your financial data remains yours. We do not claim rights
over the content of your transactions, budgets, or notes. See our
Privacy Policy for details
on how data is processed.
6. Service Limitations
6.1 Free Tier Quota
The free version of SAKU provides 15 MB of cloud storage
quota per user (applies only to collaborative wallet data; local personal
wallet data is not counted).
6.2 Service Availability
Local-first features work without internet connection.
Sync and collaboration features require internet.
We do not guarantee 100% server uptime; occasional maintenance may occur.
7. Wallet Collaboration
Collaboration activation is one-way (irreversible) — once activated, a wallet cannot revert to local mode.
Members you invite can see all transactions in that wallet.
As owner, you can change roles or remove members anytime.
Invitation tokens are valid for 7 days from creation.
8. App Updates
We may update the app from time to time for bug fixes, new features, or
security adjustments. Some updates may be required for service continuity.
9. Service Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SAKU if:
You violate these Terms & Conditions.
There are indications of abuse, fraud, or suspicious activity.
We decide to discontinue the service entirely (with reasonable notice).
10. Limited Liability
SAKU is provided "as is". We strive to maintain the integrity of your data
but are not responsible for:
Data loss due to device damage or app uninstallation without backup.
Financial decisions you make based on SAKU data.
Indirect damages, lost profits, or unrecoverable data.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Pena Studio against third-party claims arising from
your violation of these Terms & Conditions or misuse of the app.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of
Indonesia. Disputes shall be resolved through consultation first, or
through courts within Indonesian jurisdiction.
13. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions. The latest version will be posted
on this page with an appropriate "Last updated" date. Continued use after
changes is considered acceptance of the new Terms.
